COMRIE AND PREDECESSOR IN OFFICE FOR OVER 34 YEARS
Leroy Comrie has been the City Councilman in the district for the past eight years, two terms. Prior to that, Comrie served as the Chief-of Staff to the former City Councilman for over seventeen years. The duo has represented the district for over thirty years. Under their representation, our district continues to lag in education, crime is rising and home-owners are losing homes to foreclosure.

In 2008, Comrie, the mayor and the city council selfishly voted to extend the term limits to three terms. They did not allow the people of New York to vote on the issue. Now, Comrie is running again asking for your vote when he didn’t let you vote on the term limits.
